Hi everyone! October is now over and November is here so time for another monthly favorites! I got quite a few new things this month which I am going to share with you as well as some older things which I still love! Chi Chi Moisturising Lip Crayons- These lip crayons are really awesome! They are highly pigmented and feel like a lip balm. My lips do not dry out at all while wearing these which is quite important to me. The only down side is the colour wears off quicker than other products but considering the super low cost and all the upsides this doesn't bother me very much. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - Previously I had been using LA Girl Pro conceal. I do think it is an amazing concealer for the price but I found that under my eyes it creased more than I liked. This Maybelline concealer has the same coverage but is a lighter formula than the LA girl one, which feels nicer under my eyes and looks way nicer. This concealer is also very affordable which is even better! Lush Ultrabland Cleanser - I have had quite a few skin problems this year, my sensitive skin has been playing up and I've had a really sore, dry rash on my chin all winter. This face wash was gentle enough to use on my face everyday and it helped to control my acne while also moisturising and helping to get rid of the rash. Lush products are also all handmade and cruelty free. NYX Eyeshadow Base- This white eyeshadow base is a necessity for anyone who loves playing around with eyeshadow. The white makes eyeshadows really stand out and this base makes eye makeup last for hours. It is also at a very low price and comes in 3 other colours. Mac Lipstick - Whirl - Following the brown lipstick trend I got this Mac lipstick which they are selling as the 'Kyle Jenner' colour. This is a matte shade which is quite brown on me but I have seen that it does look lighter on others. This has been my go-to shade this month. Australis Metallix Eyeshadow - Gold Gaga - I have had heaps of fun playing around with this eyeshadow this month. This is a highly pigmented shadow with a foil finish which looks awesome all over the lid and on the inner corner. xoBeauty Lashes - The Naturals Set - This set of lashes is perfect for everyday wear or a more special occation. This set is made up of a few very natural lashes as well as some more dramatic ones and are all very good quality. -Alexis :)

We are finally into spring in NZ so I am starting to pull the summer clothes out of the wardrobe. I have been feeling the bohemian vibes lately so wanted to put together a comfortable boho style outfit. I got the pants on sale during the winter and have been wanting to wear them so bad. The top is one I got last summer and I really like the diamond pattern on it because it gives is a more interesting look than just plain white. This top is unavailable now but I have put a link to one that is a similar style. Hi everyone! August is now over and it is finally spring!! I am very excited for the warmer weather and summer is only 3 months away! Here is some of my favorite items from the past month.
XOBeauty Lashes - The Naturals Set - I am obsessed with fake lashes and this past month I have been using this set created by Youtuber Shaaanxo. This set is a bit less dramatic than the set I showed in my July favorites but just as amazing. My favorite ones are The Romantic which are at the bottom. Australis AC On Tour Contour and Highlighting Kit - I can not get over how amazing this kit is! I have only had it for a couple of weeks now but have been using it every time I wear makeup. You can watch my full review here. Australis Metallix Eyeshadows - These eyeshadows are super metallic and pigmented. At only $12 NZ they are also super affordable! I got the shades Gold Gaga and Lana Del Grey. I will have a makeup tutorial using theses as asap! Cala Brush Set - I was unsure of how good these brushes would be because I had never heard of this brand and they cost hardly anything. When I tried them I was pretty amazed. They are good quality considering the price. This set includes 2 eyeshadow brushes, 2 face brushes, 2 small angled brushes and a lip brush. I find the angled face brush perfect for contouring. The site I linked is all I could find that sells these brushes. I got mine from a makeup sale. Elf Waterproof Liquid Liner - This is a very affordable product which I love. It has a small brush applicator which makes it easy to get perfect winged eyeliner. It has a shiny finish. I am unsure of how waterproof this eyeliner is. This exact one isn't on the site but the link is to another elf one that looks similar. Maybelline Color Elixir - Radiant Raspberry - I have talked about these a couple of times now but I still really like them. This past month I have been using this shade more than the others, probably because I am already wanting it to be summer. Australis Eyeshadow Primer - There is quite a few Australis products in this favorites which shows how much I am enjoying this brand! I mentioned this primer in the last favorites but I feel the need to talk about it again. After a night out I noticed my eyeshadow still looked exactly the same in the morning which is amazing! (I know, I should remove my makeup at night haha). That has proven that this primer really works. e.l.f. Gloss - Peaches - I am unsure of which elf product this is or how you can get them in pans like this because I had it given to me from a makeup artist. I really like this shade. It is a pink shade filled with gold glitter which will be perfect for summer. Elf products are very affordable and usually good quality.
